The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) is a training facility for more than 95 American federal police forces and some international law enforcement agencies . Thomas J. Walters has been the head of the agency since October 2017 . It is the United States Department of Homeland Security ( Department of Homeland Security allocated DHS).

The headquarters and the largest campus are located in Glynn County near the port city of Brunswick, Georgia, between Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida . In addition to Glynco, FLETC has two other training facilities in Artesia (New Mexico) and Charleston (South Carolina) .

Studies from the 1960s showed an urgent need for high-quality, inexpensive and modern training facilities with a standardized range of subjects for the training and further education of federal police officers. Then, the Consolidated Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (CFLETC) was planned in 1970 as part of the Ministry of Finance have been prepared (Department of the Treasury); The basis was the Treasury Order # 217 . The first training facility was in Washington, DC. In 1975 the organization was renamed.
