Federica Falzon

Federica Falzon (* 17th February 2003 in Ħal Safi ) is a young mezzo-soprano - singer from Malta .

life and career

The young singer started singing at the age of eight. She and her grandfather attended karaoke clubs where she was encouraged to take singing lessons. In 2011 she sang in front of an audience for the first time at the Festa Hiliet . She also took part in singing competitions such as Ti lascio una canzone , where the participant from San Marino performed at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 last year. In November 2013 she won Ghanja Gmiel is-Seba Noti with the song "Ilwien il-Holqien".

On April 20, 2014, the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), the broadcaster of Malta, announced that, after winning the previous year, they would also vote internally for the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in their own country in 2014 ; Federica Falzon. The composers are those of last year's winner "The Start", namely Elton Zarb and Matt Muxu. She performed with the song Diamonds and reached fourth place.
