Anil Jacob Kunnel

Anil George Jacob Kunnel (* 1984 in Geseke ) is a German director , film producer and author .

Life

Education

From 2003 Kunnel studied communication science , English and German at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (WWU) and passed the master’s examination. He has been a doctoral student there since 2013. During his studies, he spent a semester abroad in 2006 at Hawaiʻi Pacific University in Honolulu and completed a research semester in Bangalore in 2008 to conduct field research on the online behavior of low-income job seekers in India .

Work

Since 2008, Kunnel has made several short films on a budget. The ZDF certified the short film anthology 5xAbschied "an extraordinary cinematic quality". For the ZDF series Das kleine Fernsehspiel he produced the film Pixel Shade , which celebrated its premiere in March 2011, as part of the “Bodybits” tender .
