Federico Brito Figueroa

Federico Brito Figueroa (born November 2, 1921 in La Victoria , Aragua ; † April 28, 2000 ) was a Venezuelan Marxist historian and anthropologist , whose work had a strong influence on Hugo Chavez , among others .

His work focused on slavery , the biography of the civil war general Ezequiel Zamora , and the economic and social history of the Venezuelan colonial era.
