Federico Cristóforo , full name Federico Alfredo Cristóforo Pepe , (born September 19, 1989 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

The 1.83 meter tall goalkeeper Cristóforo is the brother of the football player Sebastián Cristóforo . He moved in January 2013 from Huracán FC on loan to Club Atlético Progreso in the Primera División . There he was used eight times in the clausura of the 2012/13 season in the league. Progreso rose to the Segunda División at the end of the season . After the loan expired, he briefly returned to Huracán FC in July 2013, before moving to the first division club Montevideo Wanderers that same month . There he played 26 league games in the 2013/14 season. In the Clausura 2014, which his club won, he was a regular goalkeeper and was on the field for the entire second half of the season. In the 2014/15 season he played 15 times in the Primera División until the end of the Apertura 2014. At the beginning of January 2015, he switched to Necaxa in the second Mexican division for a year on loan with a subsequent purchase option . There he was not used in the league, but completed five games in the Copa México . At the beginning of July 2015 he returned to the Wanderers. In the 2015/16 season he did not play a competitive game and joined the second division club Deportivo Maldonado at the end of July 2016 . After completing twelve second division games in the 2016 season, first division team Danubio FC signed him in mid-January 2017 .
