Federico Varese

Federico Varese (born November 12, 1965 in Ferrara ) is an Italian social scientist. He teaches (as of 2011) as a professor of criminology at Oxford University . Varese is an expert in the social science research of organized crime and is the author of a standard work on the Russian mafia .
