Federwelt is a German trade journal for beginners and advanced writers, self-publishers and publishing authors. It offers orientation in the literature business.

The main part is made up of practice-oriented specialist articles and interviews on the subject of writing and publishing, including the “text kitchen”. There is also an appointment calendar with information on literary competitions and scholarships, reviews of writing guides, and a classifieds section. The world of feathers no longer contains prose and poetry since 2014. It appears every two months with an edition of 5000 copies.

history

Founded in spring world in March 1998 by the writer Titus Müller , who until 2001 with a circulation of 1,500 copies last and over 1000 subscribers issued (total circulation in 1998-2001: 18,000 copies).

Until 2005, the magazine was the member's magazine of the Federal Association of Young Authors (BVjA). After Kathrin Lange and then Bjørn Jagnow took over the editorship, the Federwelt has been published by Sandra Uschtrin at Uschtrin Verlag since 2005 with an edition of 5000 copies. Anke Gasch has been the editor-in-chief since January 2014.

Since March 2014 the magazine Federwelt can be found on the pages of the authors world .
