Celebration hall of the former Reich Finance School

The celebration hall of the former Reich Finance School in Herrsching am Ammersee , a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Starnberg , was built in 1938. The celebration hall on the extensive site in Rauscher Strasse is a protected architectural monument .

To the south, the celebration hall, which could hold around 1000 people, was given a 15-step flight of stairs , above which an imperial eagle was attached, which originally had a swastika in its claws .

The celebration hall, located in the main axis of the former Reich Finance School , was changed in the 1950s to meet the needs of the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration and Justice in Bavaria and renovated in the 1970s. After considerable moisture damage in the roof area, the roof construction was renovated with over 23 m spanning solid wood trusses and the hall was redesigned into a modern multi-purpose hall.
