The Feldbinder Spezialfahrzeugwerke GmbH is a Lower Saxon manufacturer of semi-trailers and freight cars based in Winsen (Luhe) . The focus of the company is on the production of silo vehicles , tank trucks and tank cars .

history

The company was founded in 1975 by Otto Feldbinder and Jan-Dirk Beckmann, who manufactured silo superstructures for truck trailers right from the start.

The company's first location was in Drage, Lower Saxony . The headquarters were later relocated to Hamburg-Hamm . However, this location had to be abandoned when the plant there reached its capacity limit with increasing order numbers.

In 1980 operations began in Winsen (Luhe), where production continues to this day. In the following years the product range was expanded to include tank trailers as well as silo and tank containers.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall , Apparate- und Chemieanlagenbau Wittenberg GmbH, the successor to VEB Apparate- und Chemieanlagenbau-ACA, was taken over in Lutherstadt Wittenberg . At the Wittenberg site in the Reinsdorf district , silo trucks have been manufactured since 2000 and tank trucks since 2003.

In addition to production and service locations in Germany, there are sales offices and repair shops in Austria, England and Spain.
