The following campaign medals existed in the Principality of Waldeck :

Campaign medal 1809–1810

Awarded to the survivors of the Principality's soldier fighting alongside France in Spain . The foundation took place together with the campaign medal 1813-1815.

Campaign medal 1813–15

The campaign medal 1813–15 was donated on January 14, 1850 by the regent of the Principality Emma of Waldeck-Pyrmont . It could be awarded to all military personnel in the armed forces of the Principality who took part in the campaigns of 1813, 1814 and 1815 and who conducted themselves flawlessly.

Campaign Medal 1849

Was donated by Prince Georg Viktor von Waldeck-Pyrmont on June 6, 1862 and could be awarded to all members of the Waldeck Fusilier Battalion who had proven themselves in two battles on the Düppeler Schanze on the occasion of the Schleswig-Holstein uprising .

Appearance

The medal , made from the bronze of captured guns , shows the initials of Prince GV (Georg Viktor) surrounded by a laurel wreath . On the reverse an upright sword with the corresponding year (s).

The award was worn on a red ribbon with black and gold black stripes on the left chest.
