Felicidade de Sousa Guterres is an East Timorese diplomat. She was East Timor's first ambassador to Cambodia .

Career

Guterres graduated from the Universitas Timor Timur (UnTim) in 1997, today's Universidade Nasionál Timór Lorosa'e (UNTL).

Guterres was a member of the East Timorese- Indonesian Truth and Friendship Commission (CTF), which deals with the reappraisal of the occupation of East Timor by Indonesia and the crimes of 1999 . The final report was presented in 2008.

Guterres was the national advisor for foreign trade in the Ministry of Commerce when she was appointed East Timor's first ambassador to Cambodia on November 19, 2015 by President Taur Matan Ruak . The accreditation took place on April 28, 2016. In 2019 her service in Cambodia ended. On December 30, Guterres paid her farewell visit to Prime Minister Hun Sen. She was awarded the Sahakmetrei Mahasereiwat , the highest Kamdoshan honor for foreign dignitaries.
