Career
Menezes started his career in Goiás EC's youth . In 2007 he moved to the first team and made his debut against São Paulo FC . After two successful years in Brazil, the 1.85 m tall midfielder moved to Portugal. His destination was the capital Lisbon, where he joined the record champions Benfica.
