Felipe Ríos (born March 4, 1992 in Viña del Mar ) is a former Chilean tennis player .

Career

Ríos played from 2007 to 2010 on the ITF Junior Tour and achieved his best result with rank 170.

After a few matches with the professionals until 2011, he got a wildcard for the main field of the individual competition at the home tournament in Santiago . There he was against Rui Machado but lost and lost with only two game wins. From 2011 to mid-2013 he played relatively regularly and almost exclusively on the third-rate ITF Future Tour and won a title on it in doubles. In the singles he reached a final once. In these years he also managed to place himself in the world rankings , where he was highest with a place in the top 750 in singles and doubles in mid-2013.

From 2013 to 2016 he graduated from Baylor University in the United States, where he received a major in finance and also played college tennis . From the beginning of his studies and even after graduating, he played almost no tournaments.
