Waco Mammoth National Monument

With the National Park Service and the city of Waco, the university is responsible for the administration of the Waco Mammoth National Monument . The latter has been researching the findings since the discovery of the fossil site of prairie mammoths and other fossils from the Pleistocene in 1978.
