Stephen F. Austin State University
The Stephen F. Austin State University (also SFA or Stephen F called) is a state university in Nacogdoches in eastern US state of Texas . It was founded in 1921. 11,756 students are currently enrolled here. It is named after Stephen F. Austin, one of the founding fathers of Texas. The university has an agricultural research center and a teaching forest.
The sports teams of the SFA are the lumberjacks . The university is a member of the Southland Conference .
