Trinity University (Texas)
The Trinity University is an American private college in San Antonio , Texas ( USA ). It was founded in Tehuacana , Texas in 1869 . From 1902 to 1942 the university campus was in Waxahachie .
In 2005 over 2,700 students studied there. Most of them were undergraduate students.
In 2006, the university was named the best university in its category by US News & World Report magazine for the 15th consecutive year. It is also listed in the university guide "The Best 361 Colleges" published by the American organization Princeton Review .
The official motto of the university is "E Tribus Unum" (out of three one), as Trinity University was created out of three smaller colleges.
Well-known graduates include a. Alice Walton , Chuck McKinley and Jaclyn Smith .
