Felix Gerhard Behrend (born November 23, 1875 in Konschütz , West Prussia , † after 1935) was a German engineer . He was a consulting engineer and honorary senator of the Technical University of Wroclaw .

Life

He was the son of the manor owner Gerhard Behrend and his wife Anna, née Misch, and was born in West Prussia and was baptized Protestant. After attending a cadet corps , Felix Behrend switched to the Realgymnasium and finally to the Gymnasium. He then worked temporarily at the Kaiser shipyard in Danzig and at F. Schichau in Elbing . Felix Behrend then studied at the Technical University of Dresden . In November 1915 he joined S. & H. and E.-A.-G. formerly Lahmeyer or Felten & Guilleaume-Lahmeyerwerke A.-G. Frankfurt am Main into service. In 1924 he became director and technical director of the Siemens offices in Szczecin and Breslau . He had specialized in social and economic policy activities.

Felix Behrend was a member of the Association of German Engineers . Furthermore, as director of SSW Breslau, he was a member of the Wroclaw Electrotechnical Association.

He was married to Meta, the daughter of the landowner Gustav Schwartz and his wife Mathilde nee Gertz. The marriage resulted in the children Gerhard (* 1905), Eva (* 1908), Hilde (* 1915) and Beate (* 1918). He and his family lived in Schloss Wirrwitz in the Breslau-Land district.
