Felix Linsmeier

Felix Linsmeier (born October 19, 1997 in Augsburg-Oberhausen ) is a German music teacher, composer and trombonist.

Life

Linsmeier began playing the piano at the age of four and switched to the trombone at seven. Even before graduating from high school, Linsmeier won the opus one composition competition announced by the Berlin Philharmonic , which then premiered the submitted work fümmsböwörötääzäUu .

Linsmeier has been studying school music at the University of Music Würzburg since 2016 .

Much of Linsmeier's works are the relocation of image and sound material from YouTube videos. He also regularly writes arrangements of symphonic works for wind orchestra. In spring 2019 he made a concert tour in the USA with the Würzburg brass quintet "BRAWÜssimo".
