Felix Netopilek

Felix Netopilek (born July 25, 1947 in Vienna ) was an Austrian sports official .

Life

Netopilek attended elementary school from 1953 to 1957 and from 1957 to 1961 the secondary school. He then completed an apprenticeship as a book printer from 1961 to 1965 and from 1969 to 1970 he passed a B-Matura . 1965–1971 he worked as a printer in the Austrian State Printing Office, 1971–1984 as sports secretary and 1984–2005 as general secretary at the General Sports Association of Austria . From January 1, 2006 to January 31, 2009 he was in partial retirement . In 2007 he was a consultant for Austrian Sports Aid . From February 1, 2007, Netopilek became self-employed with an event organization company. He retired on February 1, 2009.

  • 1972 and 1976 member of the organizing committee of the Olympic youth camps in Munich and Innsbruck
  • 1972–1979 member of the executive and managing director of the European Sports Youth Conference

  • 1974–1992 Collaboration in the creation of the curriculum for the state sports youth leader training and lecturer at BAfl-Vienna for this training
  • 1975 Head of delegation and coordination of a European delegation (16 countries, 51 participants) to the World Exhibition for Marine Life in Okinawa
  • 1984–2005 Member of the Presidium, the Board of Directors, the Finance Commission and the International Commission of the Austrian Federal Sports Organization (BSO)
  • 1984–2005 member of the sports committee and sports council of the Austrian Federal Sports Organization
  • 1984–1986, 1988–1990, 1992–1994, 1996–2000 and 2002–2005 financial officer at the BSO
  • Founding member and president of the ASVÖ Surf and Nordic Walking Club Vienna since 1985
  • 1985–2005 participant and representative of Austria at the European Sport Conferences in Athens, Cardiff, Sofia, Oslo, Bratislava, Budapest, Amsterdam, Thallinn, Malta, Duvbrovnik, Athens
  • 1976–1995 Vice President of the Hockey Club Vienna
  • 1987–2005 member of the executive branch of the European Sports Conference
  • 1979 Head of organization of the International ASVÖ Youth Games in Zell / See, 1984 in Hartberg, 1989 in Kufstein, 1994 in Vienna
  • 1990–1993 auditor and 1993–1996 vice president of the Austrian Swimming Association
  • 1998 representative of Austria at the European Sport Forum of the EU in Salzburg
  • 2004–2005 member of the steering committee for the “Fit for Austria” project of the Federal Chancellery and State Secretariat for Sport
  • 2005–2007 lecturer in sports manager training at the Federal Sports Organization / Ministry of Sports / ASVÖ
  • 2007 Consultant of the Austrian Sports Aid
  • 2010 Chief of Protocol of the European Handball Championship in Vienna
  • since 2011 district manager of the Ö-Tour (Österr. Radrundfahrt).
