Felix Schaad

Felix Schaad (born March 3, 1961 in Zurich ) is a Swiss comic artist and caricaturist . He is known for the comic strip " Eva ", which appeared daily in the Tages-Anzeiger from 2001 to 2017 and which he produced together with Claude Jaermann .

Life

Felix Schaad grew up in Eglisau . His father was the graphic artist, children's book author and illustrator Hans P. Schaad (1928–2002), his grandfather Hans Schaad (1890–1976) was a painter and draftsman, including a caricaturist for Schweizer Illustrierte . After attending the preliminary course, Felix Schaad studied graphics at the Zurich University of Art and Design and graduated in 1988. After graduating, he worked as an art director in an advertising agency. He has been working with Claude Jaermann since 1991. He is a freelance graphic designer, art director, illustrator and cartoonist. He works as a cartoonist for the Tages-Anzeiger.

He is married to a graphic designer, has two daughters and lives in Winterthur .
