Felix of Africa
Felix of Africa († around 304 in Lodi near Milan ) is a Christian martyr and Catholic saint .
Vita
He was a legionnaire in Maximian's army who, according to legend, was martyred with Nabor in 304 in Lodi in Lombardy . Others see him as a companion of St. Cucuphas , with whom he ministered in the region around Barcelona .
Adoration
Nabor and Felix's commemoration day is July 12th. Like Nabor, he is considered the patron saint of children who find it difficult to walk. He is also called in case of childhood illnesses and ear problems.
Felix of Africa is also the patron saint and namesake of the Catalan city of Sant Feliu de Guíxols , where he is worshiped alone.
