Fellabær is a place in the municipality of Fljótsdalshérað in the Austurland region in northeast Iceland . On January 1, 2019, the place had 398 inhabitants.

geography

The place is located on the west bank of the Lagarfljót lake , where it merges into the river of the same name. The town of Egilsstaðir is just under three kilometers to the southwest .

traffic

The ring road runs through Fellabær, most of which is north of it. Egilsstaðir Airport is to the east of Fellabær .
