Feller Hof

The Feller Hof is a secluded homestead near Fell (Moselle) in the Trier-Saarburg district with around 120 hectares of grassland that is farmed according to the principle of organic farming . Quarter horse breeding is part of animal husbandry.

Geographical location

The farm is about 400 meters above sea level on the ridge between the Feller Bachtal and the Nossernbachtal on the Schiefer-Wackenweg premium hiking trail . It is surrounded by the FFH area Fellerbachtal .

history

The area was already inhabited in Celtic times, which can be seen from millstones from around 500 BC. Prove. In the 12th century the court was first mentioned in writing as owned by the Maximiner lords of the castle, it later came to the Trier United Hospitien and after the secularization by Napoleon came into private ownership. Since then the owners have been the Adams, Johänntges, Zunker, Kruskop, Steinbach and Portz families.
