Fenena of Kuyavia
Fenena von Kujawien (Polish Fenenna Inowrocławska ; * 1276 ; † September 8, 1295 in Buda ) was a Polish princess from the Duchy of Kujawia and queen of Hungary by marriage . She came from the noble family of the Piasts .
Life
She was born as the daughter of Duke Siemomysław von Kujawien in Inowrocław and his wife Salome von Pommerellen .
In 1290 she was 13 years old with Andreas III, who was 11 years her senior . married by Hungary, in the same year she and her husband were crowned the Hungarian royal couple.
The couple had only one daughter Elisabeth (around 1293–1336), who became a nun in the Dominican convent Töss near Winterthur .
Fenena died after five years of marriage in 1295 at the age of 18, her husband married the German king's daughter Agnes of Austria five months after her death .
