The Fenriskjeften (Norwegian for the pine of the Fenris ) is a large, non-iced and rocky mountain range in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . When viewed from above , it resembles a hairpin and forms the southern part of the Drygalskiberge in Orvinfjella . The southern end of this massif is formed by the Mundlauga .

Aerial photographs taken during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of Alfred Ritscher were used for mapping. Norwegian cartographers mapped the massif again using aerial photographs and measurements of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956-1960) and gave it its descriptive name after the jaw of a wolf from Nordic mythology .
