Window of the Litany of Mary (Montdauphin)
The window of the Litany of Mary in the Catholic Church of St-Loup in Montdauphin , a French parish in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region , was created in the 16th century. The stained glass window in the choir of the church has been classified as a monument historique since 1917 .
The window shows God the Father blessing Mary in tracery . Mary is surrounded by the symbols and praises from the Lauretanian litany , which can be read in the banners.
During the restoration in 1921, the window in the lower part was replaced.
