Ferdinand Crasemann

Ferdinand Crasemann (born August 28, 1886 in Hamburg ; † September 20, 1926 there ) was a German officer and politician ( DVP ).

Life

After attending grammar school, Crasemann embarked on a military career, became a professional soldier and rose to the rank of officer. After the First World War , he joined the Freikorps Maercker led by Georg Ludwig Rudolf Maercker and moved with his staff to Braunschweig . In 1919 he left the Freikorps as a captain. He was also involved in the citizens' union movement. Until November 1923 he was managing director of the Braunschweiger Bürgerbund and worked as editor of the magazine Der Bürger . From 1923 he worked as a lawyer at the working group of the retail trade association.

Crasemann was a member of the Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsoldaten and joined the DVP. From 1922 until his death he was a member of the Braunschweigische Landtag , until May 1922 as a member of the parliamentary group of the state electoral association , from 1922 to 1924 as a member of the parliamentary group DVP and Business Association (DVP / WV) and from 1924 to 1926 as a member of the parliamentary group Parliamentary working group of the national parties and the trade association ( parliamentary working group ).
