Ferdinand Diehl
Ferdinand Diehl (born May 20, 1901 in Unterwössen ; † August 27, 1992 in Graefelfing ) was a German director. Together with his brothers Hermann and Paul Diehl , he made over 30 puppet films between 1929 and 1970, which were made with well over 1,000 puppets. The best-known of her figures is the hedgehog from 1938, which became known under the name of Mecki after the Second World War . The last film by the Diehl brothers is the adaptation of Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten .
