Ferdinand Duchatsch
Ferdinand Alois Maria Duchatsch (born February 1, 1835 in Marburg an der Drau , † December 13, 1887 in Graz ) was an Austrian lawyer and politician .
Life
Born as the son of a court attorney, Duchatsch studied law in Graz after attending high school in Marburg . He was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD . After completing his studies, he became court and court advocate. He was a member of the Marburg community committee and the district council. From 1862 to 1885 he was a member of the Landtag and Reichsrat for the Lower Styrian district of Marburg. In 1883 he became mayor of Marburg. He died in 1887 in the state hospital for the mentally ill Feldhof near Graz.
