Ferdinand Huneke
Ferdinand Huneke (born September 23, 1891 in Brilon ; † June 2, 1966 in Düsseldorf ) was a German medic .
Life
Huneke is considered to be a co-developer of neural therapy , a non-scientifically recognized treatment method with procaine hydrochloride . He discovered them by chance when he accidentally injected the anti-inflammatory drug intravenously instead of intramuscularly in 1925 . In 1941 he also discovered the seconds phenomenon , in which the pain disappeared for around eight hours when procaine was injected into the hearth .
