Ferenc Temlin ( Slovenian Franc Temlin ; * in Krajna near Tišina , formerly part of Hungary , now Slovenia ; † in the 1st half of the 18th century) was a Lutheran pastor in the Prekmurje region . He was of German descent.

Temlin wrote the first book of the Slovene dialect Prekmursko (spoken in Hungary and Prekmurje ). It is the Small Catechism ( Mali katechizmus. Halle 1715).
