The Ferguson Peak is a 900 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises just north of Phillips Ridge and about 1 km west of the Central Masson Range in the Framnes Mountains .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Oscar Ferguson, the chief electrical engineer at Mawson Station in the Antarctic winter of 1962.
