Ferit Cömert (born June 5, 1983 in Riyadh ) is a Turkish football player who plays for Yeni Malatyaspor .

Career

Cömert began with club football in the youth department of Karaağaçspor. In the summer of 2000 he switched to Çanakkale Dardanelspor as a professional player , but was on the bench for one season. In 2001 he moved to the first division club Gaziantepspor . Here he played one season for the reserve team and the following three seasons as a loan player for Gaskispor . He then moved to Gaskispor, including the transfer fee.

In the summer of 2007 he moved to Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . The second half of the 2007/08 season he played again as a loan player at Gaskispor . In the 2010/11 season he made it with Gaziantep BB in the play-off final of the TFF 1. Lig and missed promotion to the Süper Lig in the last instance by losing to Orduspor .

In the summer of 2014, he moved to the third division Yeni Malatyaspor .

Cömert was a Turkish junior national player from the U17 to the U21.
