Road - adventure on Spain's roads ( Spanish title Los Camioneros ) is the title of a 1973 by Spanish TV channel Televisión Española produced (TVE) television series . The total of 13 episodes with a duration of 25 minutes each were broadcast for the first time in German-speaking countries between September and December 1980 on GDR television (transmitter DDR1) and were repeated between January and May 1985. In the German Democratic Republic (GDR) the series was also known under the title Paco the truck driver .

The topics of the individual episodes were the experiences of the young Spaniard Paco, represented by Sancho Gracia , who works as a truck driver from the second episode on and is confronted with various difficulties during his work. He has to transport sheep and bulls , is supposed to drive a heavily pregnant woman to childbirth and is attacked by criminals together with his passenger. The dream he is working towards is to buy his own truck .

The series won the prestigious Spanish television award TP de Oro in 1974 as the best domestic television series.
