Means of distance communication

Distance communication means are means of communication that can be used to initiate or conclude a contract between a consumer and an entrepreneur without the simultaneous physical presence of the contracting parties.

This includes in particular means of semi-personal contact such as telephone / cell phone , impersonal contact through means of distance communication is in the case of letters , catalogs , faxes , emails or electronic banking as well as radio , telemedia and media services ( Section 312c BGB ). As a legal consequence of these contracts that were concluded outside of the business premises by means of the aforementioned means of remote communication, the consumer has a right of revocation according to § 312g BGB.
