Ferreiros de Tendais is a small town ( vila ) and municipality in Portugal .

history

The place was probably created with the settlement policy in the course of the medieval Reconquista . Ferreiros de Tandais received its first town charter in 1210 by King D. Afonso II . It remained the seat of its own district until its dissolution in 1855. Since then, Ferreiros de Tendais has been a parish in the Cinfães district.
