The Ferrigno-ice stream is a more than 24 km long river of ice in the West Antarctic Ellsworth Land . On the Bryan coast , it flows southwest of the Wirth Peninsula into Eltanin Bay .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2003 after the US geologist Jane G. Ferrigno (* 1941) from the United States Geological Survey , a specialist in the evaluation of satellite images for the creation of maps.
