Ferrovia Novoeste SA was the railway company that received the concession to operate the Malha Oeste (western route network) from the former state railway company Rede Ferroviária Federal (RFFSA) in 1996 . The route network included practically all of the railway lines of the former Estrada de Ferro Noroeste do Brasil . In 2002 , Ferrovia Bandeirantes SA (Ferroban) and Ferrovias Norte do Brasil SA (Ferronorte) founded the new railway company Brasil Ferrovias . Most recently in 2006 , a merger of Brasil Ferrovias and Novoeste with the railway company América Latina Logística (ALL) was made possible through a share swap.
