Ferruccio Biancini

Ferruccio Biancini (born August 18, 1890 in Pomponesco , Mantua province , † March 19, 1955 in Rome ) was an Italian actor , screenwriter , film producer and director .

Life

Biancini went to Paris in 1912 , where he was initially responsible for film production companies in the selection and initial processing of film material; Between 1914 and 1916 he played a few roles for the Pathé , for Gaumont and Éclair , which he soon continued in films there until 1926 after his return to his home country. In the meantime he was a member of the drama troupe around Alfredo Sainati . In 1920 he was the director of a film in which he played himself, Rapsodie ungherese .

With the triumph of the sound film , Biancini also returned to the film scene; initially he was responsible for the Italian language versions of four German films; from 1933 he was mainly active as head of production, occasionally filming his own scripts. The most important of these is that of Vittorio de Sicas Maddalena ... zero in condotta . 1952 resp. In 1954 he produced two strips himself.

Biancini is the father of producer Liliana Biancini .
