Production control station
A production control station supplements a PPS / ERP system with the area of production control. Modern PPS / ERP systems allow sequence planning for each resource and sometimes also offer optimization options. But only by using a system for production control is it possible to refine the planning down to the last detail according to the actual availability of resources. Sequences , utilization and meeting deadlines can be planned and tracked on the time axis . Reaction to short-term changes in the reality of capacities or orders can take place quickly.
