Friedrich Wilhelm von Tigerström

Friedrich Wilhelm von Tigerström (born March 6, 1803 on the Bassin manor ( Pomerania ); † October 28, 1868 there ) was a German legal scholar .

After studying in Göttingen and Berlin, he obtained his doctorate in both rights in Greifswald in 1826, where he taught Roman civil law from 1831 to 1849. In 1849 he withdrew to the Bassin estate.

Tigerström authored several books on Roman law.
