The single-story building has a plastered facade and a tiled roof.

The Fichteburg represents architecture typical of the time and is also typical of the work of Sixtus Großmann.

The villa is in an important place in terms of urban development and optically closes off Fichtestrasse.

Today the Fichteburg houses the guest house of the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences .

The Fichteburg was placed under monument protection as a typical example of the architecture of the 1930s in Darmstadt .
