Fidelis Gadzama

Fidelis Gadzama (born October 20, 1979 ) is a former Nigerian sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

In 1997 he won the Junior African Athletics Championships.

At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, he was used in the run-up to the 4 x 400 meter relay and thus contributed to the second place of the Nigerian team, which declared the winner after the disqualification of the US relay because of the doping offenses of Antonio Pettigrew has been.

In 2002 he finished fifth with the Nigerian 4 x 400 meter relay at the World Indoor Championships in Lisbon . At the Commonwealth Games in Manchester in 2002 , he reached the quarterfinals in the individual competition and came in sixth place with the Nigerian relay.

He set his personal best of 45.59 s on July 30, 1999 in Lagos .
