The Figaro was a German satirical magazine. The magazine was published as a weekly newspaper in Vienna between 1857 and 1919 . It was founded by Karl Sitter , between 1884 and 1889 Ludwig Anzengruber headed the magazine. The orientation was liberal-humorous.

In 1876 Friedrich Schlögl , who had been working since 1857, founded the supplement "Wiener Luft".
