Fight was an American metal band. It was put together by Rob Halford after he left his previous band Judas Priest in 1992.
history
Halford formed the band together with Judas Priest drummer Scott Travis , although the latter was still active for Judas Priest. In 1993 the band went into the studio and recorded their debut War of Words . The sound differed significantly from Judas Priest and was based on bands like Pantera , which were later summarized under the term Groove Metal . In 1994, Mutations followed , an EP with live pieces and remixes. On the second studio album, guitarist Russ Parrish was replaced by Mark Chaussee . Halford disbanded the group in 1996 and turned to his next project, 2wo, which was produced by Trent Reznor .
