The branch church Bubendorf is located in the village of Bubendorf in the Pilgersdorf community in the Oberpullendorf district in Burgenland . The Roman Catholic branch church consecrated to Saint Florian von Lorch belongs to the dean's office in Oberpullendorf in the diocese of Eisenstadt . The church is a listed building ( list entry ).

history

The church was built from 1809 to 1813 and was restored in 1975.

architecture

The classical church building with a semicircular apse has an east-facing facade tower. The nave has a square vault and between the nave and the choir is a narrow yoke with side niches like a transept. The apse has a shell vault and the gallery rests on a pressed barrel vault.

Furnishing

The high altar from the first half of the 19th century bears a tabernacle by the painter and restorer Johann Rath and above it on the wall the altarpiece St. Florian. On the side there are two figures of flying angels from the 18th century.

In the left niche between the bays is a group of figures Anna with Maria from the second half of the 18th century. In the right niche between the yokes is a group of figures from the Trinity from the second half of the 19th century.
