Wall remains of two churches from the 10th and 13th centuries. The older one is probably Brunnaron an der Zöbern, mentioned in 844, which was destroyed by the Magyars in the 10th century . Around the year 1200, a larger Romanesque church was built on the same site, which burned down in 1289 during the Güssing feud .

A Protestant cemetery was later laid out here and a school building was erected above it around 1750. It was not until 1975 when this building was demolished that the remains of the wall were found.
