The Lebenbrunn branch church is located in Lebenbrunn in the Pilgersdorf community in the Oberpullendorf district in Burgenland . The Roman Catholic branch church , consecrated to Saint Ulrich of Augsburg , belongs to the dean's office in Oberpullendorf in the Eisenstadt diocese . The church is a listed building ( list entry ).

history

A previous church was built in 1808 and demolished in 1859. The present church was built in 1861/1862. In 1961 the church was restored.

architecture

The simple church building with a semicircular closed choir has a western facade tower . The three-bay nave has square vaults between belts on pilasters .

Furnishing

The altar was built in the late 19th century. On the south wall is a figure of the Man of Sorrows with two putti from the beginning of the 19th century. The glass chandelier is Art Nouveau .
