Memorial to the Roma and Sinti murdered during National Socialism

: Lackenbach 		The memorial for the Roma and Sinti murdered during National Socialism commemorates the "Gypsy camp" set up by the National Socialists in an estate in November 1940, in which Roma and Sinti were interned under inhumane conditions. Of around 4,000 detained there, only 300 to 400 witnessed the liberation of the camp in 1945. The memorial was erected on October 6, 1984 not far from the former camp for the Roma and Sinti interned and deported here; the design was done by architect Matthias Szauer . ObjectID : 67012

For the monuments as well as the status of whether the property has been placed under protection by notification or by ordinance (according to Section 2a Monument Protection Act).
