The Roman Catholic branch church Gütle (also: Fátimakirche or Fátimakapelle Gütle ) is in the district Gütle the town of Dornbirn in Dornbirn in Vorarlberg . It is consecrated to the Holy Mother of God of Fátima and as a branch church of the parish Dornbirn-Oberdorf belongs to the dean's office in Dornbirn in the diocese of Feldkirch . The building from 1949/50 is a listed building .

Building description

Exterior description

The church is a rectangular building with a lower side chapel to the west and a concluding chancel. There is a protruding tower tower on the facade. The entrance hall has two arched arcades that rest on columns. A sgraffito of a Fatima Madonna by Leopold Fetz from 1951 is attached to the facade .

Inside description

The prayer room has a flat ceiling and a sloping arched wall. The rectangular chancel also has a flat roof. The gallery is straight.

Furnishing

Above the altar is a clay painting by Martin Häusle and the figure of a Fatima Madonna by Jakob Summer . In the side chapel there is the Way of the Cross in the form of a fresco . It was painted by Martin Häusle in 1958 and restored by A. Kob in 1980. Above the altar in the side chapel is a crucifix from the 18th century.
